Chafik Studio has designed for Baccarat and Luxury Living Group, the Italian luxury furniture brand, a range of furniture inspired by the creations of the famous and illustrious crystal maker.

Ying armchair | Hugues Chevalier

Chafik designed a collection of furniture for Hugues Chevalier, including the Ying armchair, chosen by the Hotel Matignon for the Prime Minister's reception rooms. This armchair continues to ennoble prestigious salons such as very recently those of the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris.

Walking furniture | Univers Intérieur

A collection inspired by the slender fauna and by the scented colours of the Algerian landscapes of his childhood. The lines are crisp, taut and imbued with the sensuality of their bright silhouettes.

Tori furniture | Kenzo

Kenzo asked Chafik Studio to create a concept of store to deploy internationally. Chafik opted for an architecture all in materials, wood, earth and light. He designed a line of furniture of acetic rigour in the tradition and the know-how of master carpenters.

The Square chair | Moulin Galland

From 1994 to 1997, Chafik reinvented the entire outdoor catalogue of Moulin Galland (now Fermob), including the legendary folding chair, known as Square or Bistrot, which still occupies some of the world’s most famous terraces, parks and squares, including Times Square in New York.

Gazelle stand | Univers Intérieur

In 1989 Chafik created his own publishing house: Univers Intérieur. In 1992, the Paris’ Salon du Meuble awarded him the Grand Prix de la Critique for all of his creations, including the Gazette Stand, symbol of his pure and sensual work.
